Urban Planning - Seniors

 

Create a 3D model of an urban area having at least 3 complementary functions of your own choice. 

The model should include: 

 

  • a building structure with the appropriate structural levels;

  • a digital terrain model;  

  • architecture planes generated from the DTM; 

  • roads and alleys created with the Path function; 

  • drawing symbol regulations with different occupancy types for at least 3 different functions;

  • plots and buildings for at least 6 properties in the area, including the urban regulations;

  • personalised plot labels (including name of the plot, SOI FAR indices and plot surface);

  • 3D surrounding elements;

  • sun study at 5 different moments of the day;

  • at least one section through the model;

  • legends and reports;

  • renders.

Architecture - Seniors
 
Create a 3D model of a buildin g having a function

of your own choice and a recommended total area of maximum 1000 sq.m. 

The model should include:

 

  • a building structure with at least 2 levels;

  • model of planes for the building structure;

  • at least these architectural elements: straight single and multi layer walls, columns, beams, slabs, smartpart doors and windows; 

  • finishes: rooms, vertical surfaces and optionally ceiling and floor surfaces; 

  • a completely defined staircase and a railing

  • 3D furniture and surroundings, 3D site;

  • roof or custom plane (partial or total);

  • roof structure (including roof beams, rafters, rafter-supporting purlins, roof covering); 

  • views and sections;

  • reports and legends (finishes, doors, etc);

  • exterior renders (interior renders are optional).

Structure - Seniors

 

Create a 3D structural model of a building with a function of your own choice and a recommended total area of maximum 1000 sq.m. The structural system can be either concrete frames, concrete walls or confined masonry. 

The structural model should include: 

  • a building structure with at least 2 levels to which you will add the infrastructure levels;

  • roof planes and/or custom planes; 

  • roof structure (including rafters, beams, headers, hip, valley rafters, roof beams, collar beams and collar ties, posts, etc., depending on the chosen solution);

  • reinforced concrete staircase;

  • BIM elements: structural walls, columns, beams, slabs, strip or slab foundations; 

  • formwork drawing for the current level;

  • 3D reinforcement of the following: foundations, beams (straight, circular or leveled), columns, slabs (bar/mesh reinforcement), structural walls, staircase, haunch;

  • detailing the reinforcement plans; 

  • reinforcement reports;

  • bill of material (concrete, formwork, fixtures).

Anchor Structure
Building Facilities - Seniors

 

Create a 3D model of a residential building with a total area of maximum 300 sq.m. You can also download an architectural 3D model HERE.

The building facilities model should include: 

 

  • a building structure with at least 2 levels;

  • architectural elements: straight single or multi layer walls, window and door openings, columns, slabs, roof plane and roof covering, rooms; 

  • the heating system;

  • radiators connected to the route;

  • the sanitary installation;

  • 3D sanitary objects connected to the routes;

  • the waste water system (drainage);

  • connections of the sanitary objects to the route; 

  • the ventilation system;

  • diffusers connected to the route; 

  • the electrical system;

  • electrical elements and lighting fixtures connected to a properly defined and managed dispenser; cable beds;

  • all the pipes and elements will be labeled

  • all the systems will be automatically dimensioned;

  • lists of miscarriages; bill of quantities;

Infrastructure Road Design - Seniors

 

Create a 3D model of a road sector with at least one curve and one clothoid, extrawidth si superelevation. 

The model should include: 

 

  • the digital terrain model of the site;

  • the correct geometrical rendering of the road in a plan view;

  • the red line (axis) of the road; 

  • the site plan; 

  • the long section of the road; 

  • cross sections

  • the slope diagram;

  • the speed diagram;

  • 3D surrounding elements.

  • lists and volumes;

  • renders.

Infrastructure Bridge Design Seniors

 

Create a 3D model of a bridge with at least two spans composed of prestressed precast beams connected by a concrete slab. The structure will have deep foundations on piles. 

 

The bridge design is based on the information offered by the road project (site plan, long section, cross slopes, etc.)

The model should include: 

 

  • 2D drawings

  • the 3D formwork model for the whole structure: piles and foundations, abutments, piers, beams and concrete slab;

  • 3D reinforcement model for the whole structure: piles and foundations, abutments, piers, beams and concrete slab; 

  • formwork plans for the elements above; 

  • reinforcement plans for a pile, an abutment and a pier with their corresponding foundations, a beam and a concrete slab;  

  • reports (bills of quantities);

  • renders.
